Lok Samvad Setu: This is another unique platform where Taluka level meetings are convened by district authorities in presence representatives of various government agencies for resolving people’s complaints. DGVCL has participated in all the 9 such Lok Samvad Setu that began from August 21. The last Lok Samvad Setu was held on September 6.

Participating in the Kanya Kelavani & Shala Praveshotstav of primary schools in Bardoli Taluka, DGVCL has distributed 300 numbers of schoolbag kits for newly enrolled first standard students in 15 schools .

Focusing on safety awareness, DGVCL has carried out a mass awareness campaign by putting up banners and hoardings across its jurisdiction.

• For in-house safety measures, all the 117 sub-divisions are equipped with necessary safety measures. Also, safety posters highlighting ‘must’ safety measures to be observed by its manpower while discharging their duties of electricity distribution are installed in each sub-division office.

DGVCL has fully operationalized its centralized customer care center 24 X 7 at Surat with Toll free number 1800-233-3003.Any consumer of DGVCL can register their complaint regrading power supply,billing,accident etc and get feedback also.Besides consumer can also know the status of their application for new connection ,change of name as well as change of load applications .
